- A customer pays $100.00 by card on your site.
- Stripe's published rate: 2.9% of $100 = $2.90 + $0.30 fixed.
- Total fee: $3.20.
- If the card is international, add 1.5% → total $4.70.
You receive $96.80 on a domestic card ($95.30 international). To net a clean $100.00 domestically, charge $103.40 — the reverse field computes this for any target.
